Job summary

Perdue Foods is hiring a Food Safety & Quality Assurance Technician to help ensure every product meets the highest standards at our Cook facility in Perry, Georgia. You will monitor production processes, verify compliance with company, regulatory, and GFSI standards, and maintain a safe, high-quality environment in plant operations.

The 1st Shift role emphasizes product reviews, GMP adherence, sanitation practices, and corrective actions as needed to protect product quality and customer trust.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months of consecutive work history with one employer in past 3 years.
• Experience in food quality and/or safety preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately conduct product reviews for compliance to include grading, packaging and weights and related.
• Monitor and enforce company Quality and Food Safety Policies.
• Perform product reviews with Operations Group.
• Familiar with GMPs and Sanitation SOPs; implement Corrective Actions as needed.
• Evaluate potential for foreign material contamination in assigned areas.
• Perform other duties as directed by management to meet department needs.
