Job summary

KENT Consumer Brands Americas, LLC in Columbus, MS seeks a Quality Supervisor to partner with the Quality Manager to uphold quality and food safety standards while ensuring regulatory compliance across our product lines.

The role requires leading QA staff, supporting BRC and GMP programs, performing internal audits, and promoting a safety-first culture with OSHA practices. OT may be required to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Food Science or related field.
• Experience in a similar role.
• Willing to work OT, nights and weekends as needed.
• Strong people skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing Quality department operations, including laboratory and Quality line functions.
• Support the implementation and ongoing management of BRC and Food Safety programs, serving as an active member of the Food Safety team.
• Perform required BRC audits and support plant GMP audits, ensuring adherence to established quality and food safety standards.
• Lead, implement, and continuously support Quality programs and processes across the operation.
• Direct Quality Inspectors and clearly communicate department goals, expectations, and priorities.
• Champion a safety-first culture by ensuring employees follow all applicable OSHA safety practices, Food Safety Defense Plan, and established Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
