Job summary

Winland Foods, Inc. is seeking a QA Lab Tech in Minot, ND. The role supports product safety and quality through inspections, testing, and documentation. You will work with production teams to maintain compliance with GMP, HACCP, and FSMA standards.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, at least 1 year in manufacturing or food production, and proficiency with SAP and basic lab tools. Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 lbs and standing most of the shift.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of work experience in manufacturing or food production.
• 18+ years of age.
• Proficiency in SAP, hand scanners, and basic math skills.
• Advanced levels require proficiency in MII, WE systems, and interpreting line huddle measures to resolve issues.
• Computer literacy in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Operate and inspect quality equipment, perform daily inspections and product checks.
• Lead quality checks and audits; ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, SQF, FSMA and company policies.
• Record and communicate quality results; support internal audits and plant trials.
• Assist with inventory control, samples, and retention samples; support FIFO practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement.
