Winland Foods, Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor to oversee quality during production shifts. The role collaborates with operations to ensure finished products meet specifications and customer expectations.

The position requires a Bachelor’s in Biology, Chemistry, Food Science or related field, strong communication, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. On-site Grand Forks location with comprehensive benefits and bonus potential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Chemistry, Food Science or related field required.
• Proficient and effective use of communication and Microsoft Office.
• Manufacturing and Food Industry Experience preferred.
• Food Processing related certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all direct reports comply with Food Safety Policies and federal regulations.
• Maintain compliance with Plant Safety policies and government regulations.
• Coordinate and administer QA programs and workflow for efficiency.
• Investigate consumer complaints and develop corrective actions.
• Supervise hourly associates and team leaders to ensure efficient daily workflow.
• Oversee QA lead/lab tech daily functions and scheduling.
• Lead cross-functional teams and perform root-cause analysis when issues arise.
