Job summary

Rosina Food Products, Inc. is expanding its state-of-the-art meatball facility in New York and seeks a Food Quality Inspector for the 3rd shift.

The role focuses on ensuring product quality, GMP compliance, and HACCP documentation to support safe, high-quality production. The position is full-time, offers hourly pay of $21-$23 plus a $1.50 shift differential, and requires detail-oriented candidates with QA or food safety experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 6+ months experience in QA, food safety, or food manufacturing preferred.
• Knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, CCPs, and BRC standards is a plus.
• HACCP certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Inspect product weight, labeling, packaging, and overall quality
• Verify sanitation and GMP compliance during production
• Monitor critical control points (CCPs) like metal detection and cooking temps
• Complete accurate documentation for HACCP and quality systems
• Collect and submit product/environmental samples for lab testing
• Assist with USDA, FDA, and BRC inspections
• Train production staff on quality standards and documentation

Pay & Schedule

• $21-$23 per hour, depending on experience + $1.50 Shift Differential
• Schedule: 2pm-12:30am OR 7:00pm-5:30am
• Full-time position with consistent hours

Key Responsibilities
