Automation Personnel Services is seeking a Food Quality Control Technician for a Nashville, TN-based operation. You will monitor food safety, product quality, and regulatory compliance with a focus on Hot Foods production.

This role involves temperature checks, logbook maintenance, and supporting audits to ensure HACCP and FDA standards are met, while collaborating with the production team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling practices, or the ability to acquire this knowledge through company training.
• Ability to read, complete, review, and maintain accurate logs, checklists, and other required documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify discrepancies and potential food safety concerns.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining effective working relationships with the production team.
• Criminal background check required.

Responsabilités

• Conduct temperature checks on products and ensure that all HACCP, and FDA rules and regulations are followed along with managing the unit’s logbooks.
• Perform quality checks in the Hot Food kitchen to ensure that the specifications of the customer are followed.
• Ensure food produced in the Hot Foods is checked for temperature and placed in the refrigeration system per company policy.
• Checks temperature of food prior to moving the food into the refrigeration system.
• Randomly check temperature of foods to verify that company policies are followed.
• Monitor personal hygiene.
• Support customer with audits and government audit to meet compliance.
• Monitor equipment for cleanliness and sanitation.
• Complete all required HACCP logs.
• Communicate product deviation to the unit production manager.
• Additional duties may be assigned as deemed necessary by management.

Food Quality Control Technician

Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Food Quality Control Technician for a company based in Nashville, TN. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring food safety, product quality, and regulatory compliance within the food production operation, with a primary focus on Hot Foods production.

Food Quality Control Technician Duties and Responsibilities
