Job summary

Red Monkey Foods is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician I for the first shift (Mon-Thu 5am-3:30pm) in Springfield, MO. You will perform QA tasks in a food manufacturing setting, inspect production areas, verify documentation, and release finished goods while ensuring GMP and food safety standards.

Responsibilities include swabbing for sanitation, conducting material inspections, and maintaining QA records.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2 years of documented work experience or equivalent educational experience required.
• Prefer food manufacturing experience.
• Associate’s degree in Food Science or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts QA tasks to ensure compliance with QA program.
• Performs inspections of products, equipment, and manufacturing areas.
• Conducts ATP/allergen/sanitation swabbing and environmental swabbing.
• Performs microbiological testing and logging for sanitation effectiveness.
• Releases production batches and reviews batch tickets for accuracy.
• Maintains finished goods sample retention and QA documentation.
