Actalent in Agawam, MA seeks a Quality Assurance Technician to monitor quality control during production, verify raw materials and finished products meet specifications, perform sensory evaluations, and maintain accurate documentation. The role supports GMPs/CCPs and drives continuous improvement in food safety and product quality. The position is based on the production floor in a food manufacturing facility, with a 7:30 a.m.

– 4:00 p.m. schedule, on-site work, and a contract-to-hire pathway.

Qualifications

• AA degree or 6+ months QA/manufacturing experience.
• Experience in food manufacturing QA/QC.
• GMPs knowledge and CCPs awareness.
• Strong documentation and attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Verify that raw materials and finished products meet quality, safety, and labeling requirements.
• Conduct sensory and visual evaluations to confirm products meet defined specifications.
• Monitor GMPs, CCPs, weights, labels, and temperature checks.
