Job summary

OSI Group is offering an internship program designed to learn how to run a food manufacturing line. You will work on project-based assignments across yield improvement, waste reduction, and related process topics, with a final presentation to management.

Interns gain hands-on experience in data collection, SOP development, and cross-functional collaboration, culminating in a presentation of results and recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Collect, document, review, and transfer test results from external sources to internal documentation
• Perform data collection, trend quality metrics, and communicate results
• Draft, implement, and maintain SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)
• Assist in developing, updating, and monitoring of corrective and preventive actions
• Daily logging of incoming raw materials into a database
• Sample preparation testing
• Learn and apply standards and principles of auditing and related techniques
• Ability to analyze audit data to identify trends and summarize in reports with recommendations to management
• Participate in cross-functional projects, work groups.
