Job summary

LHH US in New York City is seeking a Quality Assurance Associate for a food manufacturing client. This temporary, on-site role supports regulatory compliance, food safety, and QA projects, offering hands-on experience in the food processing industry.

The position pays $20.00 to $25.00 per hour and requires strong attention to detail, communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Flexible hours are available to suit operations and staffing needs.

Qualifications

• Experience or interest in Food Science, Nutrition, Food Technology, Dairy Science, or a related field.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update product information within compliance and food safety databases.
• Assist with reviewing and validating product labeling, nutritional information, and item identification data.
• Collect, organize, and maintain supplier documentation, including product specifications and compliance records.
• Support food safety, quality assurance, and regulatory projects as needed.
• Assist with administrative and data management activities related to compliance programs.
