Batchline Solutions in Morgan Hill, CA is seeking a Purchasing Coordinator to support DTC and B2B operations. You will work with vendors to source ingredients, packaging, and supplies, aligning procurement with production schedules and quality standards.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 3+ years in food labeling compliance/regulatory affairs, with strong FDA/USDA knowledge, attention to detail, and project management skills.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of FDA and USDA labeling regulations.

Responsibilities

• Work with Procurement Manager to execute purchasing strategies across CA/NJ locations.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for quality, pricing, and delivery terms.
• Place and manage purchase orders aligned with production schedules and forecasts.
• Monitor open orders and resolve delays or quality issues promptly.
• Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and procurement activities in ERP.
• Collaborate with operations, R&D, and QA to ensure food safety standards.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and supplier consolidation efforts.
