At Canyon Ranch Lenox, an incredible culinary experience starts long before a meal reaches the table. It starts with having the right ingredients, in the right place, at the right time — and that’s where you come in.
We’re looking for a Food Purchasing Clerk to join our Food & Beverage team in the Berkshires. This is a hands‑on role for someone who loves staying organized, takes pride in the details, and enjoys being right in the middle of a busy culinary operation.
You’ll work alongside our culinary team to help order high‑quality ingredients and supplies, receive and organize deliveries, maintain inventory, keep our storerooms and walk‑ins running smoothly, and make sure our kitchens have what they need to deliver an exceptional experience for our guests.
Keep our kitchens stocked and ready.
Help order food, beverages, and supplies while balancing quality, availability, and cost. You’ll help maintain appropriate inventory and par levels so our culinary teams have what they need when they need it.
Own the organization behind the operation.
Receive and stock products, maintain clean and organized storerooms and walk-ins, rotate products using FIFO practices, and keep a close eye on inventory.
Be a partner to our culinary team.
Work closely with chefs, stewarding, and other Food & Beverage colleagues to support a smooth operation — whether that means helping with product utilization, beverage and juice production, sanitation, or jumping in where the team needs you.
Help us maintain exceptionally high standards.
Food safety, cleanliness, organization, and attention to detail matter here. You’ll play an important role in maintaining those standards throughout our culinary spaces.
Look for ways to make us better.
Notice something that could be more organized, efficient, or effective? We want someone who notices the details and isn’t afraid to bring forward a better way of doing things.
Are someone who loves an organized walk‑in and believes everything should have a place. You’re dependable, detail‑oriented, safety‑conscious, and comfortable working in a fast‑moving kitchen environment. You can stay calm when things get busy, learn new systems quickly, and aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves and help the team.
Previous food & beverage, purchasing, inventory, receiving, culinary, or related experience will help you hit the ground running.
This isn’t purchasing for just any kitchen. You’ll be part of a culinary operation within one of the country’s leading wellness destinations, surrounded by people who care deeply about food, hospitality, and creating experiences that help our guests live healthier lives.
And your work matters. Every organized storeroom, every perfectly timed order, and every ingredient that’s ready when our chefs need it contributes to the experience our guests came to Canyon Ranch to have.
If you love food, thrive on organization, and get a strange amount of satisfaction from a perfectly stocked and organized walk‑in, we should talk.
