Job summary

International Flavors and Fragrances seeks a Food Science Intern for the summer to join our R&D team. You will explore food product development, sensory evaluation, and shelf-life studies while applying classroom knowledge to real-world challenges.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in food science or a related field.
  • Sophomore year completed and will return to study in fall.
  • Interested in human testing of flavors and fragrances.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Able to work in an interdisciplinary scientific setting.
  • High level of initiative and teamwork ability.
  • Experience with analytical instrumentation.
  • Familiarity with both theoretical and practical aspects in related area.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Food Science Intern to join our R&D team for the summer. This internship offers hands‑on experience in food product development, C&D and sensory evaluation. The ideal candidate is passionate about food innovation and eager to apply classroom knowledge in a real-world setting.
