Job summary

Cooper University Health Care in New Jersey is seeking a reliable food service worker to join the hospital cafeteria team. You will prepare salads, desserts, sandwiches, and deli items according to standardized recipes for portion sizes and quality control.

You will operate grill area equipment, safely use slicers, mixers, ovens, and steamers, procure stock, replenish par levels, clean and sanitize work areas, and assist in serving cafeteria customers or patient tray lines, while following HACCP

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience.
• Knowledge of safe food handling and preparation.
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble salads, desserts, sandwiches, and deli items.
• Cook in grill area according to quality standards.
• Operate slicer, mixer, steamer, oven, and broiler safely.
