Job summary

Ian's Pizza is hiring Food Production Workers for our new frozen pizza manufacturing facility in Milwaukee, WI. You’ll help prepare ingredients, assemble pizzas, package finished products, and keep a clean, safe production operation behind the scenes.

No previous food manufacturing experience is required. We’re looking for dependable, teachable team players who can stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willing to learn and work well in a fast-moving team.
• Comfortable working around common food allergens and in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and weigh ingredients for production batches.
• Make and portion dough, sauces, meats, cheese, and other pizza ingredients.
• Assemble pizzas on a semi-automated production line.
• Operate commercial ovens and other kitchen or production equipment.
• Package, label, and prepare finished pizzas for freezing and distribution.

Food Production Worker - $16-$18/hour - Milwaukee, WI

Help us make the pizza that feeds Wisconsin! Ian's Pizza is hiring Food Production Workers for our new frozen pizza manufacturing facility in Milwaukee, WI. You'll work behind the scenes preparing ingredients, assembling pizzas, packaging finished products, and helping us maintain a clean, safe, high-quality food production operation.

What You’ll Do

Our production team makes frozen pizzas for distribution throughout Wisconsin, as well as pizzas for our Milwaukee storefront. Depending on the day, your work may include:

• Preparing and weighing ingredients for production batches
• Making and portioning dough, sauces, meats, cheese, and other pizza ingredients
• Assembling pizzas on a semi-automated production line
• Operating commercial ovens and other kitchen or production equipment
• Packaging, labeling, and preparing finished pizzas for freezing and distributionFollowing food safety, sanitation, quality, and production procedures
• Keeping work areas, equipment, and production spaces clean and organized
• Working as part of a team to keep production moving efficiently

This is a high-volume food manufacturing and production kitchen, so you'll spend a lot of time on your feet and may perform repetitive tasks such as weighing ingredients, topping pizzas, assembling products, and packaging food. Our team will train you on our processes and equipment, and support you along the way!

What We’re Looking For

You don't need previous food manufacturing experience to apply. We're looking for people who are dependable, willing to learn, and comfortable working as part of a fast-moving production team.

You’ll need to be able to:

• Stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Regularly lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Work around and handle common food allergens, including gluten, dairy, and eggs
• Safely use ovens, knives, kitchen tools, and commercial food production equipment
• Work in areas with varying temperatures
• Communicate and work effectively in a loud, busy environment
• Follow detailed instructions, safety procedures, and food quality standards
• Work reliably as part of a team
• Be at least 18 years old
• Be authorized to work in the U.S.

Experience in food production, food manufacturing, bakery production, catering, commercial kitchens, pizza making, or assembly-line production is a plus, but it's not required.

Schedule

Our Milwaukee production facility operates Monday-Friday, approximately 8am-7pm.

Current anticipated shifts include: 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm, and 10am-7pm.

We're looking for candidates with flexible availability who can work within our production hours. Part-time and full-time opportunities are available.

Pay and Benefits

• $16-$18/hour, depending on experience
