Job summary

Responsibilities include following food safety procedures, recording production data, operating forklifts, maintaining sanitation, and contributing to continuous improvement within a team that values quality.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Six months to a one-year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Basic Mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, fractions, and percentages.
• Written and oral English Communication.
• Knowledge and ability to be certified with on stand-up/sit-down forklift, and scissor lift.
• Previous knowledge of SQF, GMP’s, HACCP, AIB/ASI standards.
• Biochemical process and/or Food manufacturing experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Basic PC skills in Word, Excel.

Responsibilities

• Follow all food safety and operating procedures outlined by the company’s standards.
• Operate forklifts safely.
• Accurately record required information on production/quality documentation.
• Report mechanical malfunctions to management.
• Ensure finished product is properly labeled with legible lot code.
• Maintain clean work area and adhere to sanitation standards.
