Job summary

The role requires strict adherence to food safety standards, documentation, and equipment operation, including forklift certification. Candidate will work 1st shift with potential overtime and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Six months to a one-year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination or education and experience.
• Basic Mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, fractions, and percentages.
• Written and oral English Communication
• Knowledge and ability to be certified with on stand-up/sit-down forklift, and scissor lift.
• Previous knowledge of SQF, GMP’s, HACCP, AIB/ASI standards.
• Biochemical process and/or Food manufacturing experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Basic PC skills in Word, Excel.

Responsibilities

• Follow all food safety and operating procedures per company standards for start-up, changeovers, shutdown, and safe operation of machinery.
• Ensure critical control points are checked on all required equipment and report findings.
• Accurately record required information on production/quality documentation.
• Report mechanical malfunctions to management.
• Ensure finished product is properly labeled with an accurate lot code.
• Operate forklifts safely.
• Maintain sanitation of production area per sanitation standards.
• Record information on appropriate documentation.
• Comply with HR policies and procedures.
• Contribute to continuous improvement culture.
