Job summary

K2D is seeking an entry-level general production worker in Denver, CO to support unpackaging, processing, trimming, and packaging of beef, pork or poultry products. This role emphasizes safety, quality checks, and efficient handling of product throughout the shift.

The candidate should be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and operate basic processing equipment in a fast-paced environment, while following SQF/HACCP guidelines.

Qualifications

• Preferably a high school diploma or equivalent, and one (1) year experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably in a food-processing environment.
• Good reading, writing, basic math, communication and organizational skills.
• Must be able to stand a minimum of eight hours and continuously lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs. Note: Sanova lifts up to 80 lbs. with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repetitive tasks using knives or equipment to trim or portion protein to specifications.
• Check quality, weigh, label, bag, pack and box finished products.
• Operate equipment such as slicers, injectors or grinders and monitor materials.
