Job summary

Schwan's Company in North East, PA, is seeking a full-time production operator for our food manufacturing facility. The role involves setting up and pre-running equipment to ensure proper production startup and maintaining safe, efficient line operation.

You'll be responsible for controlling line speeds, batch rates, and performing quality checks, plus completing all required paperwork such as downtime and HACCP records in accordance with SAP SOPs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years in manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Able to work overtime and weekends as plant scheduling requires.

Responsibilities

• Set up and pre-run equipment to ensure proper production start-up.
• Control line speeds and batch production rates, starting/stopping equipment.
• Perform quality checks and document results.
• Complete required paperwork including downtime and HACCP records per SAP SOP.
