Job summary

CJ Schwan’s is seeking a full-time production operator for our food manufacturing facility in the United States. You will set up and run production lines, ensure quality checks, and document downtime using SAP, while supporting sanitation and maintenance tasks.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 3 years of related experience. Shift is 1st (6:00am–5:00pm) with potential overtime; benefits include multiple health plans and 401(k) matching.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of related experience.
• Ability to operate multiple machines safely with minimal supervision and obtain necessary production specifications.

Responsibilities

• Set up, pre-run, and perform quality checks on equipment to ensure proper production startup.
• Operate and control line speeds, batch formulas, and production rates; start and stop equipment as needed.
• Perform light maintenance and preventative maintenance on equipment; assist maintenance team with repairs and service tasks.
• Complete all required documentation, including downtime logs and HACCP forms, using SAP and in accordance with SOPs and safety training.
• Disassemble, clean, and reassemble production lines and equipment as needed for sanitation and maintenance.
