• The candidate has proven food processing experience in a production management role.
• Experience operating various manufacturing machinery and tools is required.
• Advanced skills in MS Office and data handling are preferred.
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities are essential.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills are needed.
• Self-motivated with a results-driven approach to meet goals.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities and initiative to improve processes.

Responsibilities

• Meet production goals and operate within budget.
• Maintain and improve yield and production metrics.
• Ensure manufacturing practices and procedures are followed by staff.
• Ensure 100% accuracy of packaging and labeling.
• Comply with employment law and HR policies.
• Recruit, train, manage, monitor and discipline production staff.
• Collaborate with Quality Manager to meet regulatory and auditing standards.
• Control waste of packaging materials, ingredients and labor hours.
• Work with facility manager to develop process improvements and procure equipment.
• Follow safety guidelines and Good Manufacturing Practices.
