Responsibilities:
- Manages equipment usage to enhance labor utilization , improve production efficiency, and optimize departmental expenses .
- Adheres to the production plan and oversees line performance against the plan, making necessary adjustments to meet production goals .
- Proficient in troubleshooting equipment on the spot to minimize downtime and waste.
- Manages critical areas of production and packaging, including inventory, labor, and waste.
- Leads supervisors and staff, taking charge of all new hire training and conducting regular and ongoing training across all departments .
- Upholds product quality and standards, ensuring unwavering commitment to product quality and consistency with recipes and standards .
- Handles weekly and seasonal production forecasts and adjusts labor accordingly.
- Monitors and ensures the implementation of recommended changes in work methods.
- Acts as a coach and developer for supervisors and employees, identifying areas for growth and nurturing high-potential talent at every level.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 to 5 year's experience in consumer goods/food manufacturing.
- Must have a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Consistent attendance and punctuality are essential.
- Demonstrated experience in managing teams of 30 or more individuals. Adaptable to a constantly changing environment.
- Passionate about your work; displaying enthusiasm for both the people and business aspects of the food industry while effectively navigating challenges and opportunities.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to maintain a positive working environment.
- Adaptable and flexible recognizing the unpredictability inherent in the food industry and calmly troubleshooting issues as they arise .
- Detail-oriented; capable of breaking down larger goals into actionable day-to-day tasks, highlighting innate meticulousness and strategic thinking. Strong organizational abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Effective and articulate communication skills, both verbally and in writing .
