Job summary

Tyson Foods is hiring for a 1st shift machine operator on the United States production floor. You will set up and prepare equipment per production schedule, monitor operations, perform basic adjustments, and ensure product quality and line readiness.

You will read and complete necessary paperwork, participate in inspections, and collaborate with line leads. The role may involve basic maintenance and training newer team members.

Qualifications

• At least 3 months of machine operator experience within the last 6 months.
• Must be able to read, write and complete necessary paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Set up and prepare production equipment per schedule (labels, batter, stuffing, etc.).
• Oversee machine operations and perform minor adjustments.
• Conduct metal detections and USDA inspections; read/write required paperwork.
• May perform basic maintenance and contactMaintenance Mechanic if needed.
• Interact with Line Leads to determine setup and operation.
• Assist lower-level team members and train new or promoted staff.
• Work on the production line and ensure product standards.
