Job summary

DITSCH USA is seeking a Food Production Machine Operator in Cincinnati, Ohio for the first shift. You will set up, operate, and maintain packaging and process equipment to ensure safe, high-quality output and meet daily production goals.

Requirements include a High School diploma or equivalent and 1–2 years in manufacturing, with knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, and PLC-controlled equipment. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Mechanical skills and experience in a manufacturing environment (preferably 1-2 years).
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Previous food manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Two years of food production experience, preferred.
• Familiarity with PLC-controlled equipment, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, start up, shutdown, lockout, sanitation, and operation of packaging or process equipment to produce safe, high-quality products.
• Maintain good manufacturing practices with emphasis on quality and food safety; keep equipment clean.
• Monitor product quality, weights, dates; record data in production and quality logs; HACCP CCP as required.
• Adjust machine settings and maintain center lines to optimize performance; work with teammates across shifts.
• Operate touchscreens, sensors, controllers, actuators, and motors; observe and adjust controls.
• Maintain inventory traceability and load/unload materials; troubleshoot issues and improve processes.
