Job summary

Ditsch USA manufactures pretzels and operates a food production line in Cincinnati. The Machine Operator will set up, operate, and maintain packaging and process equipment, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time production.

Requirements include a high school diploma, 1–2 years in manufacturing, and PLC familiarity. The role supports a 1st shift schedule with weekend/holiday flexibility in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Mechanical skills and experience in a manufacturing environment (1-2 years).
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Previous food manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Two years of food production experience, preferred.
• Familiarity with PLC-controlled equipment, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain machinery to ensure production targets.
• Follow safety and GMP guidelines in all production activities.
• Monitor product quality, weight, and packaging, and record results.
• Operate automated equipment with touchscreens and sensors.
• Maintain inventory traceability and load materials as needed.
• Troubleshoot issues and coordinate with teams to improve processes.
• Perform duties assigned by supervisor.
