Job summary

Q&B Foods in Tennessee is seeking a Machine Operator to operate, monitor, and maintain production equipment to ensure safe, quality food production.

You will follow mixing procedures, inspect lines, adjust settings for correct fill, report malfunctions, and support quality control as needed.

This is a full-time position with Monday–Friday hours, occasional weekends, 2nd shift starts at 2 pm, and a production environment with exposure to heat, noise, and chemicals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• English language skills (speaking/listening/writing).
• Basic mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication) and calculator use.
• Read thermometers, gauges, meters and adjust equipment as required.
• Experience in food manufacturing is a plus.
• Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain production equipment.
• Inspect and ensure cleanliness of filling and capping areas.
• Follow exact mixing procedures and ensure proper material flow.
• Monitor product temperatures and adjust fill levels as needed.
• Report malfunctions and deviations to the Lead Person or Supervisor.
• Print labels and ensure label supply for finished goods.
• Collaborate with Lead Person on correct product for each run.
