Job summary

Qualifications

• Reading and writing abilities are required.
• Ability to use a calculator for basic math.
• Ability to operate a laptop computer for documentation.
• Forklift operation and safety training (PIT) is required.
• Follow GMPs and safety rules while handling materials.
• Work as part of a team under supervision.
• Complete GMP and safety training within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment in a food production area.
• Run inventories by item and follow FIFO.
• Label and verify raw materials, and put away materials.
• Pull shipping pick lists and ensure order accuracy.
• Enforce GMPs with drivers and vendors.
• Perform inbound inspections and ensure lot traceability.
