Job summary

The Chefs' Warehouse in Baltimore, MD is seeking a dedicated entry-level Processing Room Worker. Responsibilities include cleaning, washing and sanitizing meat, seafood and poultry processing areas and maintaining a clean workspace.

Pay is hourly with benefits and weekly pay, and candidates should have a high school diploma and 3–6 months of experience. We provide health, dental, life insurance, 401k, employee discounts, and opportunities for growth in a fast-paced food service environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–6 months of experience.

Responsibilities

• Prep Processing room for washing.
• Power down machines using appropriate procedures.
• Break down equipment for cleaning.
• Remove cardboard, trash bags, inedible from processing rooms.
• Use high and low pressure water wash systems with water temperature between 120-140F.
• Use proper detergent and sanitizing chemicals following MSDS procedures.
• Ability to read labels for chemical identification.
