Job summary

National Beef Packing of Liberal, Kansas is seeking a Maintenance Technician with experience in food processing and a willingness to learn new skills. Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, rebuilding and installing components, performing preventative maintenance, and reporting daily activities.

Qualifications

• Mechanical skills and understanding of basic machine functions.
• Ability to use common tools such as hammers, saws, drills, and wrenches.
• Basic computer skills.
• Willingness to work and be on time when scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Fixing and maintaining mechanical equipment, buildings, and machines.
• Rebuilding, repairing, and/or replacing equipment/machinery/parts.
• Performing preventative maintenance.
• Installing equipment/machinery/parts.
• Inspecting and troubleshooting equipment and systems.
• Creating daily activity reports.
• Collaboration with management and other departments regarding maintenance issues throughout the facility.
