Job summary

National Beef Packing Company LLC in Dodge City, KS is seeking qualified Maintenance Technicians with experience in food processing. On-site role offering starting pay of $23.65 per hour plus benefits, paid vacation and holidays, and an employee meat purchase program.

Candidates with ammonia/refrigeration, electrical, or process line experience are encouraged to apply. Must be 18+ and authorized to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Mechanical skills and understanding of basic machine functions.
• Ability to use common tools such as hammers, saws, drills, and wrenches.
• Basic computer skills.
• Willingness to work and be on time when scheduled.
• Ability to read, write and speak English preferred.
• Strong work ethic and eye for detail.
• Exemplary safety record (with previous employer).
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Must be able to pass a Criminal Background Check.

Responsibilities

• Fixing and maintaining mechanical equipment, buildings, and machines
• Rebuilding, repairing, and/or replacing equipment/machinery/parts
• Performing preventative maintenance
• Installing equipment/machinery/parts
• Inspecting and troubleshooting equipment and systems
• Creating daily activity reports
• Collaboration with management and other departments regarding maintenance issues throughout the facility
• Other duties as assigned

This is a safety sensitive position. This is an on-site position.
