Job summary

National Beef in Liberal, Kansas, is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician for 2nd shift. This on-site role focuses on product quality, safety, and compliance with customer specifications in a meat processing environment.

The position requires a high school diploma and basic computer skills, with beef industry knowledge preferred. The candidate should be reliable, punctual, and able to communicate effectively in English.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic computer/tablet skills desired.
• Beef industry experience preferred.
• Good time management skills are essential.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Assess product to ensure compliance with customer specifications.
• Provide positive, professional training to production employees on customer specs.
• Interact with QA Manager and Production Management on analysis projects.
• Ensure National Beef provides a wholesome, food safe product.
• Monitor food safety and employee safety throughout the facility.
• Assist in other duties as assigned by QA Management.
• Notify plant management of deficiencies and take appropriate action.
• Perform daily system audits on products.
• Other duties as assigned.
