Mt. Olive Pickle Company Inc. is seeking an experienced Process Maintenance Technician to support high-volume relish production. The role emphasizes mechanical aptitude, electrical skills, and hands-on troubleshooting within a food processing environment.

The technician will work under the Supervisor, ensuring equipment reliability, proper setup, and safe, efficient operations across the relish line. Collaboration with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams is essential.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Before the shift begins, communicates with cutting department to ensure correct product and quantity for shift production.
• Coordinates with Blender Operator to ensure proper setup and operation of the blenders, heat exchanger and that the correct formula is followed.
• Prepares, starts up, operates, and shuts down production equipment in accordance with established procedures.
• Observes production parameters, identifies deviations, and makes real-time adjustments to maintain product quality and throughput.
• Assists Operators and maintenance to insure optimum production and efficiency of the relish line and repairs on equipment.
• Monitors to assure product adheres to food safety and quality limits and reports issues.
• Monitors production run and reports problems to Supervisor.
• Assists in training new personnel and keeps area clean and safe.
