Job summary

Alliance Workforce Management is seeking Equipment Setup Technicians to support a high-volume food processing facility. You will set up, adjust, and verify lines to ensure proper product configuration and readiness for start-up.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and ability to work with Production, QA, and Maintenance teams. Work schedule includes weekdays and some Saturdays, with lifting up to 70 lbs and exposure to cold/humid environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required; technical/vocational training preferred.
• 1–3 years of equipment set-up or changeover experience in food or meat processing.
• Strong mechanical aptitude; basic electrical knowledge preferred.
• Familiarity with GMPs, HACCP, and lockout/tagout procedures.

Responsibilities

• Set up and change over processing and packaging equipment based on production schedules.
• Adjust, align, and configure machinery for different product types, weights, and specifications.
• Verify equipment readiness before start-up and support first-run checks with Production and QA.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues to reduce downtime.
• Document set-up parameters, issues, and corrective actions.
• Assist with equipment tear-down and reassembly during sanitation cycles.
