Job summary

Alliance Workforce Management is hiring Equipment Setup Technicians for the 1st shift at a leading food manufacturing facility in Owasso, OK. The role involves performing equipment setups, changeovers, adjustments, and line preparation to ensure production equipment is configured safely and ready to meet production requirements.

You will help minimize downtime, support production efficiency, and uphold food safety and quality standards according to GMPs, HACCP, and lockout/tagout procedures.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Technical or mechanical training preferred.
• 1–3 years of equipment setup/changeover experience in food manufacturing.
• Experience performing changeovers and machine adjustments.
• Basic electrical troubleshooting knowledge is a plus.
• Familiarity with conveyors, packaging equipment, automated machinery, and PLC interfaces.
• Knowledge of GMPs/HACCP and food safety requirements.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules (nights/weekends/holidays).
• Ability to read, understand, and follow technical maintenance instructions.
• Reliable attendance and commitment to workplace safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform equipment setups and changeovers according to production schedules and product specs.
• Adjust, align, and configure processing and packaging equipment for different products and sizes.
• Verify equipment readiness prior to startup and support first-run inspections with QA.
• Troubleshoot setup-related issues to minimize downtime and delays.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Document setup parameters, adjustments, issues, and corrective actions.
• Assist with equipment teardown during sanitation.
• Communicate line readiness and issues with cross-functional teams.
• Support continuous improvement to improve setup efficiency and equipment performance.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas.
• Perform additional duties to support production and maintenance.
