You will handle equipment setup, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting and minor repairs, and coordinate with maintenance and production teams to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in equipment setup, operation and troubleshooting.
• 3+ years in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical thinking skills.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
• Trade school certification or education is a plus.
• Strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting abilities.

Responsibilities

• Operate extrusion and popcorn manufacturing equipment and prepare products for further processing.
• Continuously monitor equipment during production for quality and smooth operation.
• Handle setup, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting and minor repairs.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems on processing and packaging equipment.
• Coordinate with maintenance for more complex problems.
• Coordinate with peers, supervisors, and management to minimize downtime.
