Job summary

Redner’s Markets is hiring a Food Processing Clerk in Reading, PA to support the Central Cutting Facility. You will help produce and prepare large quantities of food, ensuring proper processing, storage, and presentation in line with quality standards.

You will handle sanitation, packaging, inventory monitoring, and daily product rotation while following health regulations and company policies. This role requires physical endurance and strong teamwork in a cold environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform duties in a cold room of 38F.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds (80% of the time) and up to 50 pounds (20% of the time). Push/pull carts up to 100 pounds.
• Must wear cut resistant gloves when using sharp tools.
• Must stand for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision.
• Interact professionally with other employees, guests and suppliers.
• Work effectively as a team contributor and communicate/coordinate with the team.
• Prepare, sanitize and package products according to standards.
• Maintain labeling, dating and rotating of all food products daily.
• Ensure products meet quality, safety and freshness standards.
