Job summary

Cargill is seeking a Process Engineer to optimize interconnected components of a manufacturing system. You will develop and apply engineering standards, coordinate plant location, personnel workflow and ergonomics, materials logistics, process sequence and equipment layouts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Minimum of two years of related work experience.
• Other minimum qualifications may apply.

Responsibilities

• Help manufacturing plant and facilities engineers with facility planning and design.
• Assist in cost/inventory/production control and studies to develop and implement facility modifications.
• Follow guidelines to analyze and resolve problems.
• Contribute to designing and improving manufacturing processes, instruments and equipment, testing products to maintain quality.
• Collaborate with other departments to benchmark practices and develop strategies.
• Independently address moderately complex issues with minimal supervision.
