Job summary

PeopleReady in Nashville, TN is hiring Food Preparers for Antioch, TN. As a Food Preparer you will assemble meals, prepare salads and sandwiches, and sanitize work areas on a daily shift. Training for the food handler card is provided by PeopleReady to eligible applicants.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady
• Prior food prep or cooking experience preferred
• Knowledge of basic math skills
• Possess a valid food handler's card - PeopleReady will help provide this training
• Background check and drug screening required

Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of foods for cooking according to instructions. This may include making salads, sandwiches, or assembling meals
• Store food in designated containers and storage areas
• Clean kitchen area, take out trash, mop floors, and wipe areas when needed
• Sanitize all required area
