Job Description

Responsible for the collection, delivery, and restocking of all floor pantries assigned. Must note the amount of goods delivered to each pantry and have the authorizing floor attendant sign the form before turning in goods to the main office. Some employees in this position will work on the tray line, performing assigned tasks before and after line assignments. Transports food trucks and/or food items to patient floors in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

  • Picks up assigned order sheets for the day.
  • Collects all necessary items from the storeroom.
  • Delivers specific items and notes which items and quantities are on hand and what items and quantities were added to pantries and refrigerators.
  • Keeps areas clean and notifies floor attendant if there are refrigerator temperature or other issues.
  • Has the authorizing floor attendant confirm and sign dated requisition forms.
  • Attends meetings and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 0-1 years experience

Compensation

The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides salary ranges that comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $23.1558 - $25.2012 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and operational need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay, or other forms of compensation or benefits.
