Fork & Knife LLC in Flemington, NJ is seeking a Food Prep team member to join our kitchen crew. You will prepare ingredients, wash and trim produce, and help maintain a clean, sanitary workstation in a fast-paced setting that values teamwork and quality.

Ideal candidates have kitchen experience, basic knife skills, and knowledge of food safety. This role supports line cooks during service and helps keep inventory fresh and organized.

Competenze

• Prior experience in a kitchen, food prep, or restaurant environment preferred.
• Basic knife skills and familiarity with kitchen equipment.
• Knowledge of food safety and proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Mansioni

• Prepare and portion ingredients according to recipes and kitchen standards.
• Wash, peel, chop, and slice fruits, vegetables, and proteins as directed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation at all times.
• Assist line cooks and kitchen staff during meal service and high-volume periods.
• Properly store and label food items following food safety guidelines.
• Monitor and rotate stock to minimize waste and ensure freshness.
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
