Job summary

Sodexo Group is seeking a Food Prep Helper at Murray State University. This full-time role supports the preparation and service of vibrant menus and maintains clean, safe work areas. You will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere with friendly customer service and assist with kitchen tasks during weekday shifts.

Shifts run morning to afternoon/evening on weekdays. The compensation ranges from $12.08 to $13.00 per hour, with benefits and opportunities for training and development.

Qualifications

• Team-oriented, adaptable, reliable, and nurturing a healthy/safe working environment for all.
• 0–1 year of related experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Reads recipes and assists in the preparation of hot and/or cold foods using a variety of kitchen utensils/equipment.
• Clean and sanitize work stations and production equipment.
• May have basic cooking responsibilities, e.g., vegetables or chicken for salads.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
