Sodexo at Murray State University is seeking a Food Prep Helper to support hot and cold food preparation. Location is Murray, KY with varying shifts and full-time employment. Pay ranges from $12 to $14 per hour, with open availability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and sanitizes work stations and production equipment.
• May have basic cooking responsibilities, e.g., cooking vegetables or chicken for salads.
• Attends work and is on time for scheduled shifts.
• Other duties may be assigned based on account needs.

What You’ll Do:

• Reads recipes and/or product directions and assists in the preparation of hot and/or cold foods using a variety of kitchen utensils/equipment
• Clean and sanitize work stations and production equipment
• May have basic cooking responsibilities, i.e., cook vegetables, chicken for salads.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
