Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Food Prep Helper at Tarleton State University to support meal prep, food service, and hygiene in a campus dining environment. Afternoon/evening shifts and some weekends/holidays are required.

This part-time role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and maintaining a clean, safe kitchen and service area. You will assist in preparing hot and cold foods, sanitizing stations, and assisting with basic cooking duties while ensuring prompt, friendly service to students and staff.

Responsibilities

• Reads recipes and/or product directions and assists in the preparation of hot and/or cold foods using a variety of kitchen utensils/equipment.

• May have basic cooking responsibilities, e.g., cook vegetables, chicken for salads.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.

Workdays/shifts: Afternoon/evenings - varying days, and some weekends/holidays. More details will be provided during the interview process.

Employment Type: Part-time

Pay Range: $12.00 per hour - $15.00 per hour
