Job summary

Sodexo at Liberty University campus in Lynchburg is seeking a Food Prep Helper to support the preparation and serving of vibrant menus, while keeping work areas clean and welcoming for customers. The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.

Flexibility with shifts is required; this position can be full-time or part-time. Pay is $15–$16 per hour, with benefits and opportunities for growth within the company.

• Reads recipes and/or product directions and assists in the preparation of hot and/or cold foods using a variety of kitchen utensils/equipment.

• May have basic cooking responsibilities, i.e., cook vegetables, chicken for salads.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
