Job summary

PeopleReady of Lancaster, PA is hiring Food Preparers. You will perform many duties involved in preparing meals, including salads, sandwiches and assembling plates. You will store food properly, maintain a clean kitchen, and sanitize work areas daily.

The role offers 1st and 2nd shifts with a pay rate of $16 per hour, plus a benefits package. Training for a food handler's card is provided by PeopleReady, with opportunities to connect to top local employers.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady
• Must have 2 yrs experience in Line/prep/sous chef
• Knowledge of basic math skills
• Possess a valid food handler's card - PeopleReady will help provide this training

Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of foods for cooking according to instructions. This may include making salads, sandwiches, or assembling meals
• Store food in designated containers and storage areas
• Clean kitchen area, take out trash, mop floors, and wipe areas when needed
• Sanitize all required area
