Job summary

Woodland Gourmet is seeking a Sanitation Worker in Illinois to maintain clean production areas and equipment, ensuring food safety and worker safety standards. The role reports to the Department Manager or Lead and requires flexibility for overtime and weekends.

The job involves breakdown/reassembly of equipment, washdown tasks, and cross-functional communication to meet QA requirements. A high school diploma and forklift experience are beneficial.

Qualifications

• Must read and write English.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Flexibility to work overtime, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform general sanitation cleaning duties per SOPs and QA requirements.
• Breakdown and reassembly of manufacturing equipment.
• Washdown or dry-clean as specified per SSOP.
• Interior infrastructure cleaning of production and non-production areas.
• Identify safety hazards and assist across departments.
• Maintain sanitation records and pass pre-operating inspections.
