Job summary

Ventura Foods seeks an industrious sanitation associate to keep production and receiving areas clean and compliant with approved procedures, ensuring safe quality products. You will clean equipment, tanks, filters, and conveyors, and handle sanitation tasks across shifts on site in Saginaw, TX.

The role requires basic reading and math, mechanical aptitude, and good communication. Third shift with full onsite work and strong safety culture is offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience in sanitation or related role.
• Experience in food manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean production equipment, tanks, filters, conveyors, and overhead pipes.
• Maintain sanitation of floors and work areas; assist with daily sanitation duties.
• Train new hires and ensure timely paperwork and GMP/FSMA compliance.
• Operate forklift or hand lift to transport materials as needed.
• Communicate problems or concerns to appropriate personnel.
