Job summary

Sensient Technologies Corporation is hiring a Plant Sanitarian for their Turlock, California facility. The role involves hands-on sanitation of equipment and areas, in wet, hot, and humid environments.

You may lift up to 50 lbs and must be able to work third shift on a flexible schedule including weekends. Typical duties include following LOTO procedures, equipment cleaning, and maintaining sanitation documentation, with opportunities to operate cleaning machinery and learn the sanitation master

Qualifications

• Adaptability to do different activities each day with strong attention to detail.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment including third shift and weekends.
• Ability to read and write with desire to continually learn and improve.
• Knowledge of Industrial Safety and Hygiene guidelines; exposure to food industry a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow Lock-Out Tag-Out procedures.
• Assemble and disassemble equipment using hand and power tools.
• Clean with appropriate sanitation chemicals and maintain sanitation schedules.
• Document completion of sanitation tasks on the master schedule.
• Operate equipment such as Genie Boom, scissor lift, floor scrubber, power washer and ice blaster.
