Job summary

Maglio Companies is seeking a Sanitation Worker to clean and sanitize production equipment, surfaces, and facility areas in a food manufacturing setting. The role involves dismantling and reassembling equipment, handling cleaning chemicals per SDS, and maintaining safety practices.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous sanitation, janitorial, or food manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to work safely with cleaning chemicals.
• Ability to work in cold, wet environments.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize production equipment, food contact surfaces, and facility areas in accordance with SOPs.
• Disassemble and reassemble production equipment for cleaning.
• Use sanitation chemicals according to SDS and required concentrations.
• Follow GMPs and food safety policies.
• Maintain cleanliness of floors, drains, walls, ceilings, and surrounding areas.
• Identify and report equipment damage or safety hazards to the Sanitation Supervisor.
• Operate safely using PPE and complete sanitation documentation accurately.
• Support general housekeeping duties to maintain plant cleanliness.
• Perform other duties to support sanitation and production operations.
