Job summary

J&J Snack Foods is seeking a Sanitation position to support daily facility cleanliness and sanitation tasks across the plant. The role requires following established sanitation procedures, using hand and power tools, and maintaining safety and QA standards to ensure a compliant production environment.

The candidate should have a high school diploma or GED, be able to read and interpret safety manuals, and communicate in English.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, SOPs and sanitation practices.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions; communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Follow sanitation procedures in assigned plant areas during downtime and regular cleanups.
• Perform mechanical tasks using hand and power tools.
• Maintain logs as required and report accidents or unsafe conditions.
• Assist janitorial staff as directed and support QA Manager or Supervisor.
• Operate equipment using panel views and handle other duties as assigned.
• Comply with safety regulations and chemical usage guidelines.
